The signing ceremony of the strategic alliance between Agnitio and Shikron Group was held today at the Grand Hotel Hsinchu. Zhang Wenren, Chairman of Agnitio, and Chen Zhi, President of Shikron Group, signed the agreement.
Zhang Wenren said that Agnitio has been established for 10 years. Last year, the self-developed microfluidic laboratory chip system BioIC successfully passed the approval of the Ministry of Health. BioIC not only has fast detection time, but also has as many as 20 allergen testing items, including German cockroaches, Dog hair and milk, etc.
Zhang Wenren said that the British business World Kangrong Group is led by Chen Zhi, who used to be the global vice president of GE and the president of GE Healthcare Greater China. Because he is optimistic about the future development potential of Agnitio's BioIC, not only does it invest 5% of Agnitio, but the two parties will also invest in Agnitio in the future. Set up a joint venture subsidiary in Hong Kong to cooperate to expand the mainland market.
Chen Zhi said that mainland China will carry out medical reform and development, which has a huge market and business opportunities. It is expected that in the future, mainland China will not only need quantity in medical care, but also need good products. It is hoped to introduce BioIC into the vast Chinese mainland market.
